PLANT A TREE – Reforestation Project 2024

Sri Lankas last rainforest needs our help. Due to economical crisis, expanding tea plantations and a growing population, the deforestation goes on and the vulnerable eco system of our area is endangered.

For that reasons we want to do something and encourage our guests to plant a tree while they are staying with us. A donation will ensure, that the planted trees will be looked after. The trees can also be adopted long term. We will document the growth of the trees, the progress of the reforestation and the changing environment around.

With the help of our guests and other donors we will hopefully make a positive impact on the eco system and micro climate not only of our valley. Years later our beloved Donors can return and see the progress of our work. We love to see trees and wildlife thriving!
